Violet
$1,705.00 – $1,955.00
From a garden themed wedding to rustic chic, Violet is the perfect fit and flare bridal gown with a square neckline! She has a beautiful set of sheer lace sleeves and will make any bride feel her best on the big day.
A light weight satin with an overlay of a beautiful flat floral lace makes up this gown. The bodice of this gown has princess seams in broth front and back. The key to achieving the perfect fit is in the use of princess seams, of which this gown has. In addition, boning and bra cups are inserted into the bodice to help create the lift and shaping you’re looking for. A wide set square neckline is featured in both front and back of this bridal gown. The delicate shoulder straps measure one inch, two and a half centimeters, from the tip of the shoulder. Dropping down the arm is a stunning set of bishop sleeves, made only with the lace. Small cuffs synch the sleeves in at the wrist.
Skirt
At the natural waist a seam nips in the eye and begins the skirt. Like the bodice the skirt has princess seams in both the lace and satin. Flaring out just above the knee this fit and flare gown has just the right amount of fullness at the hem. Plenty to show off the lace and lightness of the gown but not so much you’ve got waves of fabric.
In the back a train extends the long lines and silhouette the gown is creating. The lace extends ten inches out, twenty five and a half centimeters. While the satin train end a few inches shorter than the lace one. This allows the natural edge of the lace to really be seen. Instead of ending in a traditional scallop this lace hem ends with the edges of flowers, leafs, and stems. A lace up corset closure is in the back of this gown creating a sexy statement without needing to show any skin. One of our favorite things about a corset back is that you can loosen or tighten the dress throughout the day.
Lace
Making up this lace is pale ivory thread and tullé base. The lace design consists of flowers and leafs. The top of the lace has small clusters of flowers that gradually grow into larger ones. Continuing down the lace larger flowers on branches extend down into the hem and end in a full bed of them. On the gown the bodice and sleeves have the part of the lace that is more sparse while the skirt begins more sparsly at the waist and becomes more dense with flowers at the hem.
Coloring
Please note that the lace of the gown is only in Pale Ivory. When you select a different color the satin of the gown changes only. The gown pictured is with pale ivory lace and white satin. For this color-way you would choose “white.” This makes the lace pop a little bit more against the contrast of the white satin.
AccessorizingÂ
This gown is shown with a removable skirt on top of it in the last two images in the slider. Our Calliope skirt is a glitter skirt that can be added to any gown to change up the look. Alternatively to a removable skirt you could wear a veil! Veils we would suggest to pair with this gown would be our Braelyn, Cara, Lena, or Leah veils.
