This beautiful satin and lace gown is perfect for a whimsical outdoor ceremony. Made up of a satin layer with a tulle and lace overlay on top of that.
The satin bodice is cut into a deep sweetheart neckline with the center point at about mid-bust level. The neckline then drops to the waist seam in a “v” as it curves around the back. With princess seams, bra cups, and boning the bride feels supported and lifted even though there is no tension around the back. The satin skirt is sewn to the bodice with a seam that sits at the natural waist. It is cut in an A-line silhouette and also has princess seams. A slit along the left front princess seam allows a touch of sex appeal as the bride’s leg peeks out. Because the slit is created on a seam it can be altered to be as high or low as the bride would like. It could even be completely closed up without compromising the shape of the gown.
Overlay
The lace and tulle overlay are what truly make this satin gown come to life. An illusion base is placed over the top of the satin bodice, however, while the satin bodice is strapless the illusion is cut into a tanktop style. The neckline of the illusion follows the edge of the sweetheart as it comes up and forms into wide-set straps. In the back, the straps curve down into a high boat neck that fastens together with a molded button. A large keyhole in the center of the back bodice drops down to the waist seam of the gown meeting with the satin.
Lace
Lace is hand-cut and placed on the illusion bodice of the gown. Beginning at the waist seam the lace stretches up and over the bust following along the straps and finishing on the back shoulder blade. A second motif of lace curves along with the keyhole and covers the back illusion bodice. A few branches of the lace trickle along the side seam of the gown, however, it is kept mostly lace-free to emphasize the lace along the front and back.
In the skirt, the satin is overlaid with a tullé layer that has matching lace beginning halfway down. It becomes more dense in the pattern the closer to the hem it becomes. Finishing out the hem is a stunning scallop that helps put the final piece of elegance in this look. Unlike the satin layer, the tullé layer does not have a slit. We love that you can see the bride’s leg through the lace, to us it feels even more sexy that you can only see parts of her leg. Pockets are in the side seams of this skirt and allow for the bride to carry her lipstick, phone, or tissues. Finally, extending the train ten inches, about twenty-five-and-a-half centimeters, allows for a touch of sophisticated drama.
Accessorizing
This gown is stunning on its own, however, should you want a veil to add to it we suggest two different options. The first would be our Heaven veil in a Chapel-length. This medium-weight tulle veil is plain until the curved bottom edge where a beaded floral trim finishes off the tullé. With similar shapes of flowers and beads, this trim complements the lace in the gown. As a second alternative, we suggest our Jane veil. Made from a soft tullé this is the classic whimsical veil that fits with everything. Any length would look great paired with this dress but we would suggest thinking about a chapel or fingertip length.

Rachel Elizabeth Bridal agrees to not release any personal information of their clients unless a legal police warrant is provided or a client asks us to via a written and signed document. If a client were to pass away, we will speak to the clients next of kin, however we will require proof of death before we release any personal information.
Non Customized Items-
Rachel Elizabeth Bridal accepts returns but only when the buyer contacts us within 14 days of receiving the item. Item must be returned to Rachel Elizabeth within 30 days of delivery. Item must also be unworn and undamaged to receive the full refund. If item is damaged it may receive a partial refund, this will be determined on a case by case basis.
Customized Items-
Once the gown(s), veil(s) or product(s) has/have been paid for in full, the purchase is final. Rachel Elizabeth Bridal does not accept returns after the product has been shipped.
Until the sale is finalized, Rachel Elizabeth Bridal does recognize that cancellations may occur and agrees to refund 50% of the total amount. If additions are made to the order after deposit has been paid a further deposit will be required and will be nonrefundable. Construction on the item will be stopped immediately and then belongs to Rachel Elizabeth Bridal.
Most items are made as soon as the item is ordered. Veils and belts have a small pre-made stock on hand. If this is the case we will ship the item asap, within 2 business days.
For the items that are made to order, specifically the gowns, we will contact you with a need by date and how long our current lead time is. Our standard lead time is 12-22 weeks for retail. If needed sooner than the 12 weeks please email BEFORE purchase.
We ship worldwide, however, shipping time and price will vary depending on country. If you are purchasing from outside the USA, please contact us BEFORE the purchase for an accurate shipping quote.
Import Duties-
Rachel Elizabeth is not responsible for import duties or the time it takes to clear customs. Please take this timing into consideration when placing your order.
Damaged Items-
We at Rachel Elizabeth Bridal guarantee the quality of our products. If you receive a product from us that has been damaged in transit we request you call us immediately, within 24 hours of receiving the damaged product. We will need photographed evidence of the damaged packaging and product, with a detailed description in writing, so we can claim the expenses back from the shipping company. We will issue a full refund on return of the damaged product, or a free replacement. We will issue you a free shipping return label when requested.
If damage occurs after the purchaser received the product, Rachel Elizabeth Bridal takes no responsibility and the item is not returnable.
Rachel Elizabeth is able to make customizations to a gown that has been purchased or will be purchased. Please email our design team on the “Contact Us” page to receive a quote BEFORE or after purchase of a gown. If you have purchased the gown and it is already in construction there may be significant additional fees. Please email customizations early in your construction process. No matter what customizations include additional fees.
Examples of customizations:
-Changing the length of the train
-Raising or lowering the neckline of the gown
-Shortening or lengthening of sleeves.
-Adding a slit
-Adding Buttons
-Adding pockets (to Aline and Ballgowns only)
