This bando bridal gown is our take on the sheer bodice trend. Using a bando to create coverage and structure this bodice also allows a bit more skin to peak out through the full lace bodice. The bodice is created with a delicate flat lace; the contrast between skin color and lace allows more of the lace pattern to be seen. Statement sleeves in the lace are gathered at both the hem and cap balancing out the high neckline on the lace bodice. Closing the full lace bodice and bando are satin covered bridal buttons. Leading down to the waist band where the solid satin skirt begins.
Attaching to the waistband is an elegant pleated satin skirt. The inverted box pleats add fullness to the modified A-line skirt in a very proper way. Our bando bridal gown also includes inseam pockets in the side seams of the skirt. Allowing the bride to carry whatever she might need on that big day. Lastly, the beautiful skirt flows out into a ten inch train (twenty five and a half centimeters); just enough for a touch of grandiose and the perfect length to keep down all day.
Please note: the lace on this will be a slightly different pattern as this lace has been discontinued. Please see the last image for a picture of the lace. The tullé base of this new lace features tiny dots evenly spaced throughout it. Larger floral clusters are spaced throughout the lace with various sized flowers within. Inside the large clusters the tullé base changes in hole sizes, creating a difference in texture and opacity. In addition to the large clusters, a small grouping of flowers and leafs are spaced in between the larger ones.
Accessorizing
In the images this gown has been paired with our Tess bow veil in a fingertip length. The Swiss Dot tullé used on Tess will match with the new lace beautifully as it too has very tiny dots in the lace. Alternatively, our Braelyn veil would also look beautiful with this gown. The Braelyn is simple in design but the fabric we use is a chiffon, a unique choice for a veil. This veil is one of our top sellers and a great alternative to a traditional tullé veil.
