Constance is a whimsical tulle wedding dress with a floral lace bodice. Making up this beautiful gown are layers of medium weight tulle, satin, lace, and a foundation layer.
A satin strapless bodice is the base to the top of this dress. Princess seams help make the bodice contour to the bride’s body while boning and bra cups provide support and lift. The sweetheart neckline of the satin bodice dips in the center about a quarter of the way down the bust, just enough to show off the decolletage. As the neckline rounds to the back of the body it dips down into a wide V that touches the waist seam at the center back opening. An overlay of tulle is the base for lace that is hand placed throughout the gown. The tulle bodice is cut in a bardot neckline that sits a few inches beneath the collarbone. Short tulle sleeves attach to the illusion bodice. Along the center back, the illusion bodice has satin covered buttons that provide an opening.
Skirt
The base of the skirt is made from satin in an A-line silhouette. Over the top of the satin, a tulle overlay has three layers to it and is sewn into the waist seam with no gathers or pleats. The absence of gathers or pleats means that this skirt lays closely to the bride’s body and makes the waist look smaller. Princess seams in all of the layers allow for fullness at the hem of the gown. In the back, the satin and tulle layers have trains of different sizes. The satin skirt has a train that extends twelve inches (almost thirty-one centimeters) on center back, while the tulle layers extend fifteen inches (thirty-eight centimeters).
Lace
The lace on this gown is a combination of different sized whimsical flowers and leaves. Beading emphasizes and adds details to the flowers throughout the lace. Hand placed throughout the bodice and along the edge of the train, the details are created with an expert’s eye. Lace is placed around the top of the bardot neckline creating a whimsical natural edge. On the center front, the lace around the bardot neckline dips down in the center mimicking the sweetheart neckline. Placed along the under bust and waist, lace then is designed to curve up and around the side of the bust. This leaves the center of the bodice free from lace, drawing attention to the sweetheart neckline.
The back bodice has a right and left mirrored effect that is reminiscent of the front bodice. The lace is thicker at the bottom of the bodice and lighter in the upper second quadrant, also like the front bodice. Along the hem of the tulle train, lace is placed emphasizing the trailing effect. About halfway from the side seam to the center back seam, the lace begins in a thin line. Additionally, as the lace approaches the center back it peeks going slightly up the center back seam in a triangle shape.
Accessorizing
We suggest looking at adding a lightweight veil to this look. Either something unique like our Cara or Braelyn veils or something more traditional like our Lena, Leah, or Jane veils. While unconventional with beaded lace at the waist, a belt might also finish this look. Look at our Sasha belt for even more glamour or our Fleur belt for a touch of romance.

If a client were to pass away, we will speak to the clients next of kin, however we will require proof of death before we release any personal information.
Non Customized Items-
Rachel Elizabeth Bridal accepts returns but only when the buyer contacts us within 14 days of receiving the item. Item must be returned to Rachel Elizabeth within 30 days of delivery. Item must also be unworn and undamaged to receive the full refund. If item is damaged it may receive a partial refund, this will be determined on a case by case basis.
Customized Items-
Once the gown(s), veil(s) or product(s) has/have been paid for in full, the purchase is final. Rachel Elizabeth Bridal does not accept returns after the product has been shipped.
Until the sale is finalized, Rachel Elizabeth Bridal does recognize that cancellations may occur and agrees to refund 50% of the total amount. If additions are made to the order after deposit has been paid a further deposit will be required and will be nonrefundable. Construction on the item will be stopped immediately and then belongs to Rachel Elizabeth Bridal.
Most items are made as soon as the item is ordered. Veils and belts have a small pre-made stock on hand. If this is the case we will ship the item asap, within 2 business days.
For the items that are made to order, specifically the gowns, we will contact you with a need by date and how long our current lead time is. Our standard lead time is 12-22 weeks for retail. If needed sooner than the 12 weeks please email BEFORE purchase.
We ship worldwide, however, shipping time and price will vary depending on country. If you are purchasing from outside the USA, please contact us BEFORE the purchase for an accurate shipping quote.
Import Duties-
Rachel Elizabeth is not responsible for import duties or the time it takes to clear customs. Please take this timing into consideration when placing your order.
Damaged Items-
We at Rachel Elizabeth Bridal guarantee the quality of our products. If you receive a product from us that has been damaged in transit we request you call us immediately, within 24 hours of receiving the damaged product. We will need photographed evidence of the damaged packaging and product, with a detailed description in writing, so we can claim the expenses back from the shipping company. We will issue a full refund on return of the damaged product, or a free replacement. We will issue you a free shipping return label when requested.
If damage occurs after the purchaser received the product, Rachel Elizabeth Bridal takes no responsibility and the item is not returnable.
Rachel Elizabeth is able to make customizations to a gown that has been recently purchased and not started production, or will be purchased. Please email our design team on the “Contact Us” page to receive a quote before or after purchase of a gown. If you have purchased the gown and it is already in construction there may be significant additional fees. Please email customizations early in your construction process. No matter what customizations are additional fees are included.
